Sustainable Goals
With sustainable development strategy as the foundation, FENC established short-term (2027), mid-term (2030) and long-term (2035) targets with tracking mechanism on the yearly progress, taking steady strides toward sustainable development goals.

Note: The boundary of GHG inventory for “Increase in Green Building Floor Area” covers the buildings with titles registered under FERD with 2022 as the base year.

Action Plan
- Identify the sources of electricity consumption and implement customized reduction measures to tackle each source.
- Replace equipment with low energy efficiency.
- Promote energy conservation to building tenants or occupants.
2025 Progress
- Electricity Consumption per Unit of Floor Area ↓ 16% (Note)
Annual Target
2025
Electricity Consumption per Unit of Floor Area ↓ 17 %

Electricity Consumption per Unit of Floor Area ↓ 17 %
2027
Electricity Consumption per Unit of Floor Area ↓ 18 %
2030
Electricity Consumption per Unit of Floor Area ↓ 20 %
2035
Electricity Consumption per Unit of Floor Area ↓ 25 %
- Note:
- The boundary of GHG inventory for “Reduction of Electricity Consumption Per Unit of Floor Area” is adjusted to cover the FERD office and public areas within TPKA R&D Building in Tpark. The base year is 2022. Tpark is continuing tenant engagement in the leased areas to promote energy reduction.
- The increase in electricity demand is the result of higher power consumption in the public areas caused by factors such as added shared spaces and rising visitor traffic, which led to rising energy consumption load of the infrastructure in the public areas.
