Promoting biodiversity conservation and sustainable ecosystem management.

FENC pledges a "Net Positive Impact" on biodiversity by 2050. Guided by the TNFD framework and LEAP methodology, the company drives five core principles: avoid, reduce, restore, regenerate, and transform. As the first chemical enterprise in Taiwan to be recognized as a TNFD Adopter, FENC regularly publishes the Climate and Nature-Related Financial Disclosures Report. Concurrently, by devoting resources to the Penghu seagrass restoration project, FENC puts the conservation commitment into practice.

With a diverse product lineup, FENC established R&D Center in Taiwan and U.S. The two entities focus on the development of highly specialized products as well as the advancement and applications of recycling technologies. Product categories span high-functional polyester and environmental protection, etc. The Company also founded Innovation Direct to Market (IDM) and a cross-industry technological platform to align with the R&D resources from brand customers and fast-track the commercialization of innovative products.

FENC devotes long-term research and development efforts to biomass as a replacement for fossil fuels to minimize their environmental impacts. Products that are most representative of the fruit of this effort are bio PET, which is made of biomass materials.

In 2025, FENC launched the world's first river tracing shoes featuring midsoles made of recycled thermoplastic polyester elastomer(rTPEE) and developed a mono-material, highly elastic fabric to replace traditional spandex-based elastic fibers, a challenging material for recycling.
