　　October 20 marks the 77th anniversary of Far Eastern Group's founding in Taiwan. Over the years, with a mindset of "taking root in Taiwan and keeping an eye on the world," the Group's reach has extended to numerous countries across Asia, the Americas, and Africa, with a business footprint spanning ten major industries. September 2025

• Asia Cement Corporation(ACC), Far Eastern Department Stores, Far Eastern SOGO Department Stores, Everest Textile Co., Ltd., Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, and Yuan Ze University won a total of 15 awards at the 2025 Asia-Pacific and Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards (APSAA/TSAA) ceremony. • Far Eastern Department Stores, YaTung ReadyMixed Concrete, and Far Eastern Big City Shopping Mall won 8 awards at the Asia-Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA).
• Far Eastern New Century, U-Ming Marine Transport, and Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET) were selected for the "2025 Taiwan FINI 100" list.
• Far Eastern SOGO Department Stores and Yuan Ze University won the Gold Award and Bronze Award respectively in the Non-Manufacturing Category at the 7th National Enterprise Environmental Protection Award; Everest Textile Co., Ltd. and Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) Co. Guanyin Plant II both earned Finalist Awards in the Manufacturing Category.
• Asia Cement Corporation(ACC) passed the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) 1.5°C near-term target review.
• Typhoon Ragasa severely hit Hualien; Far Eastern Department Stores mobilized its Hualien store, Far Eastern A.Mart Hualien store, and donated supplies from various sectors to Guangfu Township, while joining hands with HAPPY GO to launch a point-donation disaster relief project. Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET) established service stations in shelters and collaborated with partners to donate NTD 5.5 million to local charitable organizations.
• Nextlink Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to acquire 100% of shares of Renova Cloud HK Limited and took control of its Vietnamese subsidiary, Viet Nam Renova Cloud Company Limited.
• Far Eastern International Bank won the "Best Brand Image for Wealth Management Bank" award from The Asset magazine, as well as three major awards from Excellence Magazine: "Best Brand Image," "Best Wealth Management," and "Best AI Innovation".
• Far Eastern International Bank received dual honors at The Asian Banker "Taiwan Awards 2025": "Best Digital Wealth Management Platform in Taiwan" and "Best Financial Advisory Service in Taiwan".
• The Wugu Logistics Center constructed by Far Eastern Resource Development Co. obtained the Silver-level Green Building Label Certificate.

 

 

October 2025

• The Resource Circulation Agency of the Ministry of Environment held the 8th "Resource Circulation Outstanding Enterprise Selection"; Far Eastern New Century and Asia Cement Corporation(ACC) won the Gold Award, while Everest Textile Co., Ltd. earned the Silver Award in the "Source Management Category".
• Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET) and Far Eastern Resource Development Co. won the System Category Platinum Award and Operation Category Platinum Award respectively at the "2025 Asia-Pacific Intelligent Green Building Awards (APIGBA Awards)".
• Far Eastern New Century issued Taiwan's first-ever "Sustainability Commercial Paper".
• Far Eastern New Century collaborated with BenQ Materials to develop "e2cycle," a yarn recycled from electronic waste films, winning the Sustainability & Environmental Protection Award at Performance Days in Munich, Germany.

• Oriental Industries (Suzhou) completed its merger with Suzhou Dyeing and Weaving (Suzhou), obtaining a new business license and property ownership certificate.

• Far East Petrochemical (Yangzhou) Ltd was awarded the honorary title of 2025 Advanced Smart Factory of Jiangsu Province.
• Asia Cement Corporation(ACC) won the "Excellence Award for Net-Zero Industrial Competitiveness".
• At the 2025 CommonWealth Magazine Sustainability Awards, Far Eastern Department Stores, Asia Cement Corporation(ACC), Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET), Far Eastern SOGO Department Stores, and Far Eastern Big City Shopping Mall won a total of 10 major awards.
• Asia Cement Corporation(ACC) donated NTD 6 million to support post-disaster reconstruction following the outburst of the Matai'an dammed lake in Hualien; its Hualien plant also opened employee dormitories to accommodate affected residents.
• Hubei Ya Dong Cement was awarded the plaque of "Grade B Enterprise in Performance Classification for Heavy Pollution Weather Key Industries in Hubei Province".
• Sichuan Ya Dong Cement received the "Excellence Award" in the "2024 Building Materials Product User Manual Competition" by the China Building Materials Federation, and was named one of the "2025 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Chengdu" at the Chengdu Enterprise Innovation Development Conference.
• UPO Holdings Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by U-Ming Offshore Marine (UMO) and a global offshore energy maritime service leader under the UK's Purus Group, made its debut at the "2025 Energy Taiwan - Wind Energy Exposition".
• ISSDU Information Security Service Digital United became a official member of the FIRST international incident response team organization.

• At the "Global Corporate Sustainability Forum & Joint Award Ceremony," Far Eastern New Century, Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET), Far Eastern Department Stores, Asia Cement Corporation(ACC), Far Eastern SOGO Department Stores, Far Eastern International Bank, U-Ming Marine Transport, Everest Textile Co., Ltd., Oriental Union Chemical Corporation (OUCC), YaTung ReadyMixed Concrete, Oriental Securities Corp.(OSC), Far Eastern Big City Shopping Mall, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, and Yuan Ze University garnered a record-breaking total of 66 awards across the "TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards" and "GCSA Global Corporate Sustainability Awards," retaining the title of "Group with the Most Awards in Taiwan" for nine consecutive years.

• YaTung ReadyMixed Concrete plants in Taichung, Tanzi, Meilun, and Renwu obtained the Green Building Material Certificate for Green Concrete Class G; its Taichung Plant obtained the certificate for Green Concrete Class H.
• Sichuan Ya Dong Cement donated a special fund of RMB 50 million to support the relocation and reconstruction of the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

• Far Eastern New Century won the Enterprise Innovation Award at the 22nd National Innovation Award; Yuan Ze University also won the Academic & Research Innovation Award in Innovative Medical Devices & Diagnostic Technologies.
• Far Eastern New Century participated in ISPO Textrends 2025, winning 5 awards; it also won the "2025 National Innovation Progress Award" for its "ChemCycle Technology for Textile Recycling".
• CDP released its 2025 Climate Change Ratings; Far Eastern New Century, Asia Cement Corporation(ACC), and Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET) achieved the Leadership "A" rating for Climate Change, while Asia Cement Corporation(ACC) also earned an "A-" rating for Water Security.
• Far Eastern New Century became the first in Taiwan to obtain the recycled plastic content certification compliant with EN 15343 standards, receiving a Circular Economy Award from SGS.
• Far Eastern Polytex (Vietnam) won Third Place in the Industrial Energy Efficiency Category at the 2025 Vietnam Industrial Energy Efficiency Awards.
• Oriental Union Chemical Corporation (OUCC) received the 2025 Chemical Engineering Technology Group Award from the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers (TwIChE).
• Far East Petrochemical (Yangzhou) Ltd earned the honorary title of Jiangsu Advanced Energy Workshop and passed the AAA-level certification for the Integration of Information Technology and Industrialization Management System.
• Asia Cement Corporation(ACC) and YaTung ReadyMixed Concrete were granted the 2025 Net Zero Label "Silver" and "Bronze" certifications respectively by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE).
• YaTung ReadyMixed Concrete obtained the "Low-Carbon Circular Building Material" certification from the Taiwan Architecture Center (TABC) for its low-carbon concrete developed with PLC low-carbon cement.
• Jiangxi Ya Dong Cement Corporation Ltd. ranked 17th in the "2025 Top 50 Industrial Enterprises in Jiujiang" and received recognition as an "Outstanding Enterprise in Jiujiang City for 2024".
• Jiangxi Ya Dong Cement Corporation Ltd. donated 980 tons of bagged cement valued at RMB 171,000 to support rural construction in Matou Town.
• U-Ming Marine Transport donated NTD 2.5 million to the Disaster Relief Foundation to assist in post-disaster reconstruction for residents affected by the Matai'an Stream dammed lake breach in Guangfu Township, Hualien.

• Far Eastern New Century recycled polyester became the first in Taiwan to be certified compliant with EN 15343 standards by SGS Spain.
• Far Eastern New Century was listed on Business Weekly's inaugural "Top 100 AI Innovators".

• Far Eastern New Century led Oriental Green Materials and Far Eastern Apparel Co. to participate in the sustainability commercial paper program, winning the AAA Sustainable Finance Award for "Best Sustainability Commercial Paper" from The Asset magazine.
• Far Eastern Memorial Hospital completed a human clinical trial for "Living Donor Small Bowel Transplantation," becoming the first medical center in Taiwan to advance this high-difficulty transplantation technique.
• Far Eastern Memorial Hospital received 13 honors at the 2025 National Healthcare Quality Awards (NHQA) from JCT, the 10-Year Continuous Participation Special Award at the 2025 National Clinical Medical Education Awards (NCMEA), an Honorable Mention in the Evidence-Based Clinical Group, and an Honorable Mention in the Critical Care Simulation Category.

• Far Eastern New Century, Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET), and Far Eastern International Bank were ranked in the top 5% of the 12th Corporate Governance Evaluation.
• Far Eastern New Century was retained as a constituent stock in S&P Global's Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index (DJBIC); Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET) was also retained in the World Index and Emerging Markets Index.

• Jiangxi Ya Dong Cement Corporation Ltd. donated 336.7 tons of bagged cement to support infrastructure development in Shangban Village, Nanyang Township, Ruichang City.
• At the "CDP Score Presentation in Taiwan," Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET) achieved the highest "Leadership A" rating in Climate Change.
• The 5G Remote Diagnosis Platform and Cloud Health Information System (Cloud HIS) independently developed by Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET) received the first "ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)" certificate awarded by BSI to a Taiwanese telecom operator. (pic 10)
• Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection Co., Ltd. and FETC International Thailand collaborated with Thailand's BGSR Consortium to officially launch the M-Flow Multi-Lane Free-Flow Electronic Toll Collection System for Thailand's M81 Intercity Motorway (Bang Yai – Kanchanaburi).
• Far Eastern General Contractor held a groundbreaking ceremony for Sections 3 and 2 of the National Freeway No. 1A Construction Project.
• Yuan Ze University ranked 2nd in the "Large Private University Category" in the 2026 CommonWealth Magazine University Citizen Awards.

• U-Ming Marine Transport joined Rio Tinto Group's "Designated Owner and Operator" (DOO) program.
• The LNG carrier "DIAMOND GAS JADE," invested in by a joint venture under U-Ming Marine Transport, held its naming ceremony.
• FETC International Co, Ltd assisted India in constructing its first MLFF barrierless electronic toll collection system, which officially opened at the Choryasi Toll Plaza in Gujarat.
• Asia Eastern University of Science and Technology won both a Gold Medal and the Thailand SCIS Special Award at the 40th Tokyo Innovation Genius International Invention Exhibition, and secured 4 Gold Medals at the 37th International Invention & Innovation Exhibition (ITEX 2026) in Malaysia.

• Far Eastern Telecommunications (FET), Far Eastern International Bank, Far Eastern SOGO Department Stores, and Far Eastern Big City Shopping Mall won Gold Awards at the 2nd Commercial Times "Taiwan Happy Enterprise Evaluation".
• Far Eastern New Century won the Gold Award for "Best Overall Company — Conglomerate Category" and Silver Award for "Best Mid-Cap Company" from FinanceAsia.
